I arrive on set with a mix of excitment and nerves. This was the first time that I attended a shoot that featrued a model that I've been friendly with on Twitter and chat. Although I had previously met Allie Haze briefly at Adultcon, this was an opportunity to really get to know  the real her. Adding to my excitment was the fact that I was going to watch Angela (AWP Photography) work first hand. Although I work with Angela as a photo editor everyday in the Amateur Teen Kingdom office, this was a chance to watch her in her element shooting a model.

Angela started her career as a photographer for ATKingdom out of curiousity and simply for the challenge. When her first photoset scored really well with members, she was invited to shoot more.  Through hard work and dedication she has now built an impressive portfolio in the ATK network. A year and a half later, Angela is now one of our highest scoring and most requested photographers,  with her unique artistic shooting style and talented eye, Angela's sets have an unmistakable hot and sexy style which brings out the best in all the models she shoots.

A knock on the door signals the arrival of the gorgeous Allie Haze. For a split second, unsure what to do, Angela and I look at each other in nervousness and excitment. Luckily, Matti, the video camera operator, is by the door and he quickly opens it to reveal the smiling Allie and her boyfriend. Allie enters the room with suitcase in tow and she promptly greets me with a warm and friendly hug. She then introduces herself to Angela, who remarks how much more stunning and beautiful Allie looks in person... and it's true, although Allie always looks amazing on camera, she has a radiant glow about her that photos or videos can't accurately capture.

Allie quickly sets up shop and her partner leaves for the day. He is welcome to stay, but as Allie explains to us later, he likes to give Allie her space in order to maintain her professionalism and focus. Allie states, "If I had a more conventional job, say in an office, he wouldn't be hanging around watching me work." It's immediately clear Allie is a true professional and takes her work very seriously. But Allie is definitely no stick in the mud. She also loves to have fun ...wherever she is.

One of the first things I notice from spending time with Allie is that what you see... is definitely what you get. Allie doesn't have an off-screen and on-screen persona. She is sincere, honest, and genuinely friendly. Her twitter feed is a perfect example. If one wants to know the true Allie Haze, it's all right there for her fans to see.  Her trademark silly sense of humor,  her fun and quirky observations on life, her passion for video games and Angels baseball and her youthful flirtations are all REAL. Her tweets aren't for show, or for shock value or a balatant ploy to gain more followers. THIS is who the true, real, down-to-earth Allie Haze is.

The subject of her persona comes up again later in the day and she explains to me that she takes pride in the fact that she is the same in performance, as she is in real life. She explains  that it would be exhausting and insincere to have two different personas, although many of her contemporaries in the adult industry do.

It's also clear that Allie Haze honestly enjoys what she does. She adamantly states that the SECOND that this job stops being fun, she'll walk away and never look back. It's something that I've heard before from other performers, but when Allie Haze says it, she backs it with a genuine sense of conviction and sincerity. It's clear she doesn't need to do this. She LOVES performing for her fans and is grateful for any opportunity she gets to do it.

Allie Haze's path to adult performance stardom wasn't planned.  She studied theatre performance for 8 years and had actually taught jazz dance in her youth. Her mainstream performance career was just beginning to take off, when she admitedly made the mistake of getting married too young...to a minister. Allie was raised in a deeply, religious family and her choice to marry at a young age seemed like the right decision. Complicating matters was the fact that she always believed herself to be a lesbian. (Later, with her current partner, she found out she was actually bisexual.)

Her marriage eventually failed due to her true sexual feelings, as well as some personal issues that her husband had, that she couldn't resolve by herself. After her divorce, she took a job at a local bar, where she met her current partner. Allie expressed an interest in doing solo webcam work to supplement her income as a waiter. Her partner had done some promotional work for mixed martial arts and had some loose connections in the industry. It wasn't long before her fresh all-natural appeal caught the attention of major players in the Adult community. Allie's popularity in the industry quickly skyrocketed.  When the money and work became impossible to turn down, she decided to become a adult performer full time. She has currently appeared in over 20 adult films and she can now take her career as high as she wants to in the business. She has decided that she will follow this path for as far as it can take her, before she makes her eventual transition back to mainstream performance work.

When the shoot begins, I quickly find out that Allie Haze "gets it". She is completely in control and knows how to powerfully focus her sexual power into the camera. With even the quickest, sultry look she can make a grown man weak at the knees. Several come hither looks lnto the camera  later and  I realize she has  the power to make any red-blooded  male her slave...if she so wishes. Several times while watching her, I feel the strength of her magnetism and I literally have to walk away, lest I get drawn in too deeply into her smoldering allure. It's a deadly combo, if Allie wills it, with her down to earth persona and amazing looks she can probably make ANY man fall in love  with her. Angela , thoughout the shoot, is distracted by her beauty, occasionally gushing about how adorable she looks. Later she reveals to her she has developed a slight crush on Allie.

Angela is not the only one.

Angela aka AWPhotography shoots Allie and all her models in an organic, free flowing  style. She is very soft spoken and prefers to direct her  subjects by the angle  that Angela sets herself up at and her camera placement, instead of some stilted vocal direction.  It's actually brilliant to watch. The communication is almost  non-verbal and ...well... organic. Angela is also extremely personable while shooting. She'll ask questions from her subjects to keep them at ease.  There isn't alot of silly chatter from her or faking gushing over the model to try and make them feel good. Angela is calm, mellow and REAL with her subjects, something which the models obviously appreciate from her. Lest one makes the mistake of thinking Angela is all business while shooting,  she makes a point to frequently refer to Allie's privates as "Who- ha", which constantly makes Allie laugh throughout the shoot.

Angela also enjoys the feedback of the model , she constantly checks in with her, making sure she is always comfortable. Occassionaly, Angela will  also take the extra step of  actually, comically demonstrating to the model a certain position she wants her to be in. But overall throughout , the course of the day there is never any confusion on her set. Since Angela is also the in-house -photo editor for Amateur Teen Kingdom she knows exactly what she wants and how to get it.

Between sets Allie and I get some quiet time together. Although, Allie is  clearly down to earth and doesn't take herself too seriously, the truth is she's distractingly beautiful. To the point that her sexiness is almost crippling while in her presence. But I  do manage to gather my senses enough to pick her brain on a couple of subjects about her that I was curious about.

Allie's stage name was created almost on a whim. She chose Allie because it was one of the first names in the alphabet that she liked. The stage name Haze is inspired by a variation of her real life partner's last name. When I ask Allie about who are some of the  performers in the industry she's close with , she tells me she LOVES everyone. Allie makes a point to be friendly with all her fellow performers. She doesn't allow herself to get involved in the rivalry and drama which is rampant in the industry. She chooses to focus on the positives in people. I ask her who she'd like to work with and she at first pauses to make sure she doesn't offend anyone.... eventually she tells me she would eventually  love to work with Tori Black and Bobbi Starr.

Later in the shoot the subject of her amazing body comes up. She playfully jokes to me that her booty "is where the money is." I agree with her, but being a legs man , I tell her I love her long slender, sexy legs. She then reveals to me that she had recently, unwittingly, due to a nasty cold, lost some weight. She  tells me that she wants to gain it  all back and add more. She loves the curves in a woman and she wants to reflect that in her work. I  then ask her what the significance of her tattoo on her hip is and she tells me that it's a cover-up. If she had her way she'd get it removed. But she says she can't because she scars too easily. She takes me on a tour of her various scars throughout her body.  I hardly notice any of them....the truth I'm too distracted by her amazing body and gorgeous face to notice them. She even makes a point to tell me about her appendix scar on her very sexy stomach. Ironically, her scars are adorable too...just like the whole package.

Before I know it we've reached the end of the shoot. The time seems to fly by in Allie's company and Angela's well run set. I honestly feel like I can't get enough of Allie. I remind myself to remain professional and not get caught up in her charms. Angela and I  quietly walk Allie out. During the long walk,  Allie thanks me for spending the day with her and I tell her the pleasure was all mine.

In the elevator, I try to think of something memorable to say, considering it could be the final time we ever meet. But I'm just too nervous to think of anything, so when we reach the front door of the building, I simply say goodbye. She offers to walk me to my car, but I tell her I'm fine, even though I'd love to hang out with her.  I offer my hand  for a handshake goodbye and she gives me a long hug instead. Even though I'm sad, Allie's gesture makes me feel happy. Unlike most hugs, Allie's embrace doesn't feel like a goodbye, more like.... "untill next time my friend." When she let's go she smiles and says, "I'll see your later. " I smile and as I watch her walk away.... I think to myself... please god let "later" be very soon..preferably...in just a few seconds.
