It's been several years since Scarlett Fay has shot for ATKingdom. Since those early days when she was just starting out, Scarlett has carved out an impressive career working with top talent and people in the industry. We recently caught up with Scarlett Fay, who's photos and videos in ATK Premium and ATK Galleria continue to impress and entertain the members of ATKingdom.
ATK Ray: What are your memories of shooting with ATKingdom?
Scarlett Fay: I've always had great fun shooting for ATKingdom. The shoots were long. But we would always be laughing, playing music, coming up with new ideas. The shots taken for ATK have been some of my favorite so far. It's accurate to say ATKINGDOM kinda broke me into the industry.
ATK Ray: Well the feeling is mutual. Your photos on ATK Premium and Galleria have scored really well with members. So tell me about your decision to be become an adult performer?
Scarlett Fay: I'm extremely impulsive! (Laughs) I was always the smart, "good girl," who played sports, was involved in theatre, had been working 9-5 since I was 15 and when this opportunity came up.... when I was 22, I thought, "Why the hell not? IF I don't like it ...I don't have to do it." As it turns out I had a blast and I'm enjoying my time in the industry. I believe in having a good time and sharing good stories and adventures and this is definitely one for the books.
ATK Ray: What was your first adult performance like?
Scarlett Fay: My first scene was for Vivid entertainment. (BRAND NEW FACES #6) The male talent was VOODOO (who I adore). And truth be told I really wasn't as nervous as I thought I'd be. I loved having my makeup done by a professional. I loved having my picture taken. It was a cool, calm atmosphere. I was just worried about how my scene would go. If I actually would know what I was doing.I had watched porn before so I took a little from what I watched and then did some of my own thing. VOODOO was awesome to work with. I think the only thing I was truly nervous about was the size and whether or not I would be able to handle it. (laughs) I did just fine. I've had a lot of fun with my scenes since then, and I always try to bring a little something extra to the table. But the shoots can always be hit or miss. It definitely helps to have a quick chemistry lesson with your talent before a scene.
ATK Ray: Do your friends and family know about your job?
Scarlett Fay: All my friends and family know. Which makes things a great deal easier. The first few months I was in the industry I hid it from everyone. But it was causing me so much stresss trying to explain what I did every week and how I was accumulating so much money. My family is very supportive. Some of my friends were a little worried, upset, even horrified when they found out. But it didn't take long for them to come around and remember that no matter what...I'm still me. They support me and being an adult performer is just what I do. Not who I am.
ATK Ray: What has been the most surprising aspect of the industry for you?
Scarlett Fay: The people I've met and the way they and the industry have truly changed my perspective on things. Like life and who I am. My confidence is through the roof. But I'm now an extremely humble, open minded person. I enjoy my sex appeal rather than trying to hide it.
ATK Ray: What do you think is the future of the industry considering there's so much free porn out there?
Scarlett Fay: Well it's not looking too good, but I have high hopes. It's going to take a while. But I think we'll find the new direction we need to go to make things boom again.
ATK Ray: How long do you plan on performing in the industry and why?
Scarlett Fay: I don't have any solid plans to leave just yet. There are a few things I want to do first. I'd definitely like to esablish myself a little more. I'd like to get my site upa nd running. Possibly direct a few scenes and god forbid maybe win an AVN Award. (Laughs) Make my dent in the industry. Not looking to be the next big superstar. But I definitely wouldn't turn it down.
ATK Ray: Are their any performers you want to work with that you haven't worked with yet?
Scarlett Fay: BELLADONNA! I love her scenes! They're amazing, but I don't think I could pull it off. I'd be so nervous. I'm super attracted to her.
ATK Ray: Who have been your favorite performers you've worked with so far?
Scarlett Fay: Evan Stone, Rocco Reed, Christian Johnson, Voodoo, Aaron Wilcox, Capri Cavelli, Scarlett Pain, Nicole Ray, Dylan Ryan, Barret Blade, just to name a few.
ATK Ray: So which one was your most satisfying? Your best orgasm on camera?
Scarlett Fay: Christian Johnson. He was incredible to work with. We had excellent chemistry from start to finish. We worked up quite a sweat.
ATK Ray: How has the industry changed you?
Scarlett Fay: I'm definitely more comfortable and more aware of the sex appeal that I have. I'm far more open minded and accepting of people and their different walks of life. I don't believe it has changed me for the worse. I' m sure there are those out there would disagree with me. But those are the people who never knew me and never wanted to know me. When you've been the plain Jane for a while most people are not ready to accept the fact that you've changed and have come into your own. They'd perfer that you always remained the plain Jane.
ATK Ray: That's so interesting that you once considered yourself a plain Jane. Because your scenes are SOOO intense and passionate. Before you started performing did you consider yourself to have a high sex drive?
Scarlett Fay: No way. I didn't... to be perfectly honest, I could take it or leave it. The industry has definitely opened me up sexually and has actually made me enjoy sex a lot more than I used to. I know my body more. My likes and dislikes.
ATK Ray: Do you consider yourself a better lover now that you' re a performer?
Scarlett Fay: I've definitely learned some new tricks. (Laughs) I'm more open intimately and honest about what I want and how to do it to get me there.
ATK Ray: Are there things you do in performance that you don't do in your personal sex life?
Scarlett Fay: I don't do anying on camera that I wouldn't do in my personal life.
ATK Ray: Do you have any advice on how to handle an intimate relationship while being in the industry?
Scarlett Fay: I've dated out of the industry and it can be rough. For the first month the guy may be all about you being in the industry and having a "Pornstar girlfriend". But after awhile they realize that they're dating me and not the fantasy or they'll want me to quit. I haven't dated anyone in the industry...yet. (smiles) Who knows? As of right now I'm single and gonna keep it that way for awhile.
ATK Ray: Your best orgasm off-camera, who with and why was it so good?
Scarlett Fay: Last guy I dated...whon't say who.. (smiles) ...But we had amazing chemistry sometimes we'd shack up in my bedroom all day and just have sex again and again. Only coming out for food and water (sigh) I'll miss him.
ATK Ray: What's the longest sex session that you've had OFF camera?
Scarlett Fay: I once had sex 8 times in one day and probably close to 5 orgasms per session. Like I said, I'll miss him.
ATK Ray: What's the most surprising thing about you.... that your fans wouldn't know?
Scarlett Fay: I LOVE to write and I'm a huge book worm. I hate steak, porkchops and bacon. (Laughs)
ATK Ray: What is your favorite mainstream movie? Why?
Scarlett Fay: The Big Lebowski. Just LOVE the Coen brother movies and their unique brand of humor.
ATK Ray: I LOVE the Big Lebowsik!!! It's my second favorite Coen Brother movie. Miller's Crossing is my favorite. Is there anything you'd like to promote or say to your fans?
Scarlett Fay: HUSTLER'S "This Ain't Dancing with the Stars" AND HUSTLER'S "Untrue Hollywood Stories: Lindsay Lohan" I also would like to give a big shout out to all my fans! I have some of the most intelligent, humorous fans and I am grateful for all ot their support. Love, love love my babies!!!
